xx__FEEL THE RHYTHM OF THE D R U M S

Soft noises filled the empty terrain, the soft pattering noises echoing around valley. The sun shone brightly upon the waterfall making a crashing noise over the echoes of the intruder, shedding light to create a rainbow from the mist of the waterfall. Though the crash was loud, it was hushed against the walls of the mountains it fell from. The small rainbow soared over the small trees dotting the base of the large mountains and came to a rest just at the beginning of the green grass, perfect for eating. Small animals rustled in the forest surrounding the open clearing and a couple of rabbits strayed out into the green clearing and nibbled on the luscious green strands of grass. All was peaceful in the clearing, and the dew on the blades sparkled like stars in the night sky, glittering brightly. The effect was lovely, shining every now and then with effortless beauty.

A shadow appeared over the ridge of the hill that began the territory of the royal herd. It was a stallion of blue roan that gleamed proudly in the sunlight. The sun rose behind him, casting a long shadow onto the grass below the hill, elongating his features until it stretched out nearly half of the territory. His muscular features were clearly etched into his pelt of months of long wandering and journeying across lands and deserts and streams. A proud whinny escaped his maw as he glanced upon the territory in which he wanted to begin his family, his herd, his life. In claiming this land, he knew he had to wait for the great Element of Desire to come and proclaim him King, so he did not rise up onto his hind pistons to show that he had dominance over the terrain. However, he did trot down toward the small pool in which the waterfall fell into. The clouds gleaming in the ever churning waters, the titan lowered his dark coloured maw to drink from the clear waters. His form was reflected in the shining pool that was distorted by ripples from his maw.

Raising his maw, glittering with droplets of his drink, the titan glanced around. Already in his mind, he visualized the terrain full of many coloured horses and foals gamboling around, eating and living in the territory. Then, he saw himself, proud and valiant ruling over them all with a nameless mare and two foals standing beside him. The titan's heart pounded joyfully and he reared in pure happiness, his whinny surrounding the territory and echoing with the same fierceness that had erupted from his dark colored maw. The happiness made him shiver and he galloped around the terrian, eager to see every inch of it. His hoofs pounded against the grassy ground as he skidded to a halt, unrooting the blades of grass caught under his ebon hoofs. He reared again, his black mane waving in the breeze, and let out a wordless whinny of happiness. How could life get any better?

He knows when you're happy
He knows when you're comfortable
He knows when you're confident
And he always knows when you have carrots.
