|~+~|Ebonite pelted stag stands admist the remains of what might once have been a truely horrible place to live, now having stood the test of time better than the surrouding terras, the land was beginning to look green again, the flowers of springtime were blooming and all around there were signs that after such a terrible time had passed the land was at last once again at peace. Or at least as much could be expected, reasened, Spirit standing looking up at the steadily darkening sky, his pelt allowing him to blend into the terra like smoke. He tossed his head and broke into a trot, not really going anywhere just thinking, remembering trying to forget. Frowning he came to a stop looking up as the first stars that shine crept into the heavons, looking for the well known constellations, stars that formed pictures in his mind, helped him remember where he was.

He had no home, he didn't need one, there were plently of chances to be had just roaming, free, moving forwards once more now not really caring where he was going he contemplated on the name of this place. Glory Hills. What glory had really been won that day he wondered, he hadn't been there, but he would have given anything to be there. Not to fight for he could and would fight but only out of nessessity. But so he could have seen how history really had went and what had happened when Light and Dark fought and Torn? What exactly had they done? Had the stood by and watched the massacre unfold? Or had they stepped in? History was so pachy of that time that none knew the truth. Well not exactly nobody.

He bet the gods knew, Element and Shatan, and perhaps a handful of others. But he thought sadly history was lost, the many battles that many had died in were being forgotten it was wrong that so many should fight only to be forgotten in the new age, he didn't like it, but what was one stag to do? Nothing an inner voice answered keep you head up, stay out of the way. But naturally he couldn't do that, it totally went agaist his nature. He wondered what he should do next, he was free to go where he wished, except into dark lands but he had no inclination nor wish to set foot inside those lands. He didn't care for the darks, but he thought for once keeping his thoughts to himself, they couldn't all be bad. In every darkness there is always a light, but where? In the darklands there was no light, not that he had ever been there himself... |~+~|

No one knows
Because no one understands

The darkness seemed to be drawing him in, and yet it seemed so harmless, the light seemed blinding. And now they were the other way around, that terrible bright light flashing across his mind, on, off, on, off was strangely comforting, because it had always been there. He looked up, snapped out of his reverie by the strange stag. Another equine? A fellow living creature in the vast wasteland of uncertainty and doubt and terror?

He walked forwards, approaching with caution and with respect. he tossed back his tassels and called out a greeting, luckily his voice sounded strong and normal. "Greetings stag, where is it you are going? he put the question to the stag simply to try and engage in conversation, how long had it been since the blessed words of knowledge had tipped his moth? To long, he replied firmly before, looking at the stag questioningly, his dark and unfathomable hues questioning and interested, for how could the stag which to linger here, in this world of cruelty and malice?

[Ugh, muse out of the window along with my brain. **]

Spirit being so obserbed as he was in what he was doing was quite certain that he was all alone, and when he thought all alone that was when he was broken from his trance by a stag, startled he turned his brown hues onto the stag, noting that he looked slightly uneasy, lost, even alone. Taking a few paces forwards he got a better look at the stag whose eyes were distant but querstioning, it felt as though the fellow stag was miles away, snorting he decided agaisnt being rude and obnoixious this stag had obviously already had as much as he could take on that front. Shifting he wondered where the stag had cone from it was uncommon to meet someone here in this vast wasteland, still he thought wryly to himself, he weren't exactly taking note of who was around you were you?

"Me, I'm going nowhere, because I belong nowhere, I am just wandering, north actually, and yourself?"

He was used to being asked where he was bound everyone seemed so interested in what everyone else was doing these days. But he didn't mind at the moment, he was interested himself as to where this strange stag was headed, he hoped they weren't travelling in the same direction, it wasn't that he didn't like company he did but at the moment he was feeling slightly irritable and feared he might get off on the wrong foot to any who crossed him. Frowning slightly as he awaited the stags reply the sun had well and truly set and he was feeling slightly tired not out of lack of energy or sleep but out of lack of coversation and to tell the truth he welcomed the company if anouther he had been wandering the lands alone and hadn't spoken to any in several days now.

Simple was his reply, and yet it broke like water upon the shore, he nodded his great head, hues unfathionable and yet as open a s a book. He thought about the stags question before replying, his crowned head raised in greeting.

I am also going nowhere, yet I am not headed North, we might travel for a while

he didn't ask the permission of the stag, he didn't feel that it was necassary, the stag clearly felt it alright for him to intrude upon the land that he walked upon, so it seemed plenty alright that they travel together, at least for a while. Evene though the stag be clearly a Sacred, and he was Torn.
